This Friday is International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.

I sat down to think about what kind of post that I could come up with to celebrate the day and reflected on how I wanted to include my Bindery community.

You have heard me talk about building this community with the goal of getting an imprint to publish Indigenous books. That is only one of our goals.

From August 9, International Day of The World’s Indigenous Peoples through the end of November (National Native American Heritage Month, I want us to mobilize for Indigenous authors.

I created Boozhoo Bingo as a fun way to get more people talking about Indigenous books and I hope that you will participate. I created a Bingo Card of 25 books. I chose books that are on my TBR. I tried to include few books that were already popular on social media (though there are a few favorites) and to limit series.

You will notice that the card only fits the book title. You can find the full list of books on my Bookshop.org List titled Boozhoo Bingo. My bookshop.org bookshop is Black Walnut Books.
